VIDEONOMAD

Itinerant Video Art Screening

13 - 15 October 2016

VIDEONOMAD, the itinerant video art screening, takes place in Harare from 13 to 15 October 2016. Over the course of three days, video artists will engage with the city through a programme of public screenings, talks and workshops, culminating with a Video Art Party at Njelele Art Station on Saturday 15 October.

The dynamic series of programming includes interdisciplinary masterclasses and performances with invited artists from South Africa, Mozambique and Zimbabwe, and the public screening showcases a compelling selection of works from across the diaspora.

VIDEONOMAD aims to establish a dynamic synergy of video art makers from across the continent that enriches the global art scene. The international artist film screening has taken place in Tunis, Dakar, Tokyo, Pesaro, Salvador de Bahia and Kalamata, and now brings a diverse programme to Harare.
